PREMIER League football club Norwich City have signed up eight-year-old Pymoor starlet Louis Jenkins.
Football-mad Louis was spotted by scouts for the Norfolk side while playing at a Norwich football camp based at Witchford Village College.
While most eight-year-olds spent their summer holidays playing on an Xbox or watching television, Louis was spending almost every day perfecting his skills at training and even managed to have a kick-about when arriving home.
After impressing in a number of academy matches, against the likes of Colchester and West Ham United under 9 teams, Louis was offered a two-year deal with Norwich as a part of their academy setup.
Mum Lucy Jenkins said: “He absolutely loves his football and is always out playing or practising. We were all so pleased when we heard Norwich wanted him to play.”
