SOHAM Town Rangers midfielder Callum Kearns has left the club after only a year to sign with neighbours Bury Town.
Kearns, who joined the Greens in December last year from Newmarket Town, featured prominently in Soham's championship winning season last year making 31 appearances.
Kearns has since struggled to hold down a place in Ian Benjamin's squad and the announcement he was to join the Soham's BGB Midlands rivals Bury Town came late last night.
Fans will remember him most for his brace in the title-deciding game against Needham Market at the end of last season.
