A VASTLY improved batting performance from Little Thetford saw them seal an important win at home to Willingham.
Bowling first, Thetford struggled to take regular wickets against a strong batting line-up but the good work of Kevin Russell (2-71) ensured that the visitors score didn't get beyond an achievable score.
Taking to the crease, the home side excelled, and a virtuoso knock of 137* from Mark Browne, the club's highest score this season, ensured that the home side took command of the match, eventually wrapping up the win a ball shy of the 35th over.
