HADDENHAM Bowls Club held its annual Charity Triples Day on Sunday, August 28, raising 2,200 for emergency medical charity, Magpas.
A silent auction, bottle stall and a raffle all organised by Christine and Bernie Gotobed were among the events that helped raise the funds.
The weather was mixed but 72 people managed to enjoy a day of good bowling. The tournament itself was won by Alan Williams, Paul and Val Hughes, with Pam Pointer, Linda Churchman and John Betts the runners up.
The bowls club gave thanks to all the local companies and pubs who kindly donated items for the raffle and auction.
