The Motor Neurone Disease Association (MDNA) will benefit to the tune of £565 following a competition at City of Ely Bowls Club.
The George Piper Charity Triples event started in 1992 and attracted the usual high number of entries this year.
Twenty-four triples took part, the winners being the Bottisham team of Jim Carswell, Tony Wills and Albert Rank.
The competition is named after George Piper, a former club chairman who died of Motor Neurone Disease in 1998 after suffering for 18 years.
The cheque was presented to the Cambridge branch of MNDA by Ely club president Win Smith. The Nutholt Lane club gave the use of its rinks free of charge for the evening. The money was raised through entry fees and a prize draw.
Organiser Susan Piper thanked all the firms who gave prizes for the event.
