LITTLE Thetford's bowling attack took the plaudits in their 41 run victory over Chatteris as they laid waste to the visiting batting line-up.

Thetford posted a reasonably modest total of 139 before they were bowled out by a solid Chatteris bowling attack with Patrick Fitzackerly's quick-fire 77 the pick of the scores.

Thetford were ruthless in reply however, and managed to secure an unlikely 41 run victory thanks to a remarkably frugal and precise display of bowling from the four man bowing attack.

Jai Amory's figures of 4-19 earned him the plaudits on the day though, with an average of just five ensuring Chatteris' attack had an uncomfortably short stay at the crease.
