RUNNING: The Great Eastern Run will take place in Peterborough on October 14 and sponsor Sue Ryder Care is hoping the event will raise £20,000.
The run will raise vital funds for those living with conditions like Multiple Sclerosis, Acquired Brain Injuries and Cancer.
Fundraiser, Suzanne Ellington said: "We're looking for lots of local people to take part in the 5k or half marathon races."
Runners will be given a professional running vest, sweatband, fundraising pack, training tips, special invite to an open evening and receive telephone and email support.
Sue Ryder Care will support runners with a goody bag, a rub down from a physio at the end of the race and a glass of champagne.
