A TALENTED young golfer from Ely City Golf Club has been selected to attend a high-profile development programme.
Blue Revell, pictured, is among a group of six golfers from Cambridgeshire chosen to take part in the European Golf Performance Insitute Assessment and Player Development scheme.
Cambridge Area Golf Union Junior Chairman Walter McClellan said: "We are delighted with the programme the EGPI have provided for our young players - it is cutting edge.
"The experienced team at the EGPI have educated us all on the importance of planning and managing a structured training programme with particular emphasis on the physiological needs of the players to move forward.
"We are expecting to see a rapid improvement in our players' performances this season."
Other golfers selected for the programme are from Ramsey, Bar Hill, Newmarket, St Ives and Elton Furze Golf Clubs.
