Cycling ELY Cycling Club riders Cliff Loveday and Andy Darley made the trip along the A10 to take part in the second Open 10 of the King’s Lynn CC season on Saturday.
A field of 76 riders from across East Anglia took to the start line as the heavy rain shower was replaced by sunshine. Loveday, wearing number 13, posted a time of 25 mins and 15 secs, to finish in 40th place, while Darley posted a time of 26mins 34secs, to finish in 51st place.
The winner of the race was Kings Lynn’s own, Daniel Bloy, who posted a time of 20 mins 59 secs.
