LITTLEPORT began their league campaign with an excellent team performance and home win.
Constant pressure from the home side was rewarded by Nico Bishop's first goal of the season.
Eaton Socon hit back to level the scores but the home side weathered the storm and Bishop scored twice in quick succession to complete a hat-trick.

The second half proved to be more even but Kiaran Phillips' through-ball put Bishop in again for his fourth goal.

TOWN faced early pressure and keeper Ezra Collins produced a fine save to keep Bottisham out.
Littleport eased back into the game and a good individual goal from Bishop opened the scoring.
Bishop doubled the visitors' lead and Bottisham reduced the arrears but Ben Hawkins' superb free kick restored Port's two-goal lead before the break.
Littleport's defence stood firm in the second half and although the visitors missed a penalty, Charlie Bowditch netted a fourth.

PORT lost their first league game of the season at Cambridge Musketeers.
The visitors took the lead through Bishop and Musketeers levelled the scores but Bishop was once more on target to put Town ahead at the break.
The second half was one-way traffic and the home side equalised again before netting a spot kick to win the match.
