BREAKING NEWS: BILLY Smith has become the second player to leave the Lane after returning to Wisbech Town last night.
Having spent the last two and a half months at Soham, it was announced today that Smith would be returning to the Fenmen with his recent appearances for the Soham first team coming from the subs bench.
Smith played 16 times for Ian Benjamin's side finding the net once in the 2-0 victory over Barton Rovers in November. Smith is due to be back in the squad for the Fenman's upcoming game against Leiston on Saturday.
