Lakenheath 1 Soham Town 1

A match which started slowly erupted into life during the last few minutes.

The visitors looked to have taken the points when Ross Davey struck following a corner, but Lakenheath recovered with a last gasp equaliser.

Sean Turner, Alistair Hutchison and Joe Heal showed some fine touches in the Soham midfield, and man-of-the-match Travis Isaacson went close with a scorching angled drive in the second half.

Lakenheath 0 Haddenham Rovers 1

Haddenham continued their recent good run with a hard-fought win against resilient Lakenheath.

Rovers survived early pressure from the home side before creating chances themselves, with Joe Snooks (twice), John Falconer and Alex Lowe all going close. Haddenham played uphill in the second half, but nevertheless began to dominate.

Jake Bartolozzi - who alongside Matthew Morton was again faultless in defence - missed narrowly with a long-range effort, and the Lakenheath 'keeper made good saves from Oli Holden and James Beary.

The only goal came with just five minutes left, scored by Beary but set up unselfishly by Lowe, who made a crunching tackle near his own corner flag before running the length of the field and leaving defenders in his wake.

Soham United 2 Haverhill 2

Soham came from a goal down to share the spoils with their Suffolk rivals. Haverhill established a 30th minute lead as they dominated the opening half, but United 'keeper Joel Orme otherwise kept them at bay with a string of fine saves.

Olly Henderson's second half double turned the tide in Soham's favour, but the visitors hit back to salvage a point.

Luke Sells was the star of an excellent all-round team effort by United.

Soham Town 3 Fordham Hammers 1

Defender Dan Sadler was the star man for Soham as they bounced back from last week's cup disappointment to win this keenly contested local derby.

They led at the half-way stage by virtue of a Dan Whitwell strike, but Alex Reynolds tapped home Fordham's equaliser following a defensive lapse.

Town created several chances after that however, and Graham Carson made it 2-1 after winning a tackle on the edge of the box.

Elliott Drewery grabbed Soham's third goal with a fine shot after a well-timed run.
