Awards galore as East Cambs Warriors mark season of success with presentation evening

East Cambs Warriors basketball players and coaches celebrated a successful season with an end-of-campaign awards ceremony this month.

Players and staff received awards at the presentation evening at Soham Pavilion on July 20, with awards given to players of all age groups for top performances throughout the season.

Coaching roles for next season were also announced, with Rob Knapper remaining head coach of both the Warriors and all-female team, the Amazons, as well as the club’s under 18s team.

Hayden Brown and Pedro Diaz will manage the under 16s and under 14s respectively.

Under 14s:

Players’ most valuable player: Isaasc Jackson

Most improved player: Alex Jacobs

Most valuable player: Lucas Everett-Green

Under 16s:

Players’ most valuable player: Aurimas Sileris

Most improved player: Andrew Needham

Most valuable player: Luke Mason

Under 18s:

Players’ most valuable player: Alex Needham

Most improved player: Tom Smith

Most valuable player: Matt Juden

Senior Team:

Players’ most valuable player: Tim Evans

Most improved player: Alex Needham

Most valuable player: Glen Kerrison
