CAMBRIDGE City footballer Carla Penny capped a superb season for the club by picking up a number of awards at an end-of-season presentation.
Witchford Village College student Carla, made the switch from goalkeeper to outfield player at the start of the season and smashed home an incredible 34 goals as her team won the league cup and finished runners up in their league.
Twelve-year-old Carla, who has been with City for three seasons, was honoured for her achievements at the club’s end-of-season presentation, where she picked up the manager’s player of the year and the golden boot awards.
