ASHLEY Legge was the hero for Pymoor at the weekend after almost single-handedly securing a 70 run win over lowly Doddington.

Starting a quite remarkable day with the bat, Legge smashed his way to 91 to help Pymoor on to 181 after 40 overs, Mark Neighbour weighing in with a useful haul of 30 to provide an ideal foil for Legge.

Not satisfied with the highest score of the day with the bat, Legge then turned his attentions to the ball and soon had the visitors in trouble, taking 4-23 to help dismiss the floundering opposition for just 111.
