HADDENHAM got their season off to a flying start as they chalked up a four wicket success at St Ives.
A number of postponements in recent weeks had delayed the start of the club's first season back following a short merger with the City of Ely, but there were no signs of ring-rust as they eased to a fairly comfortable win.

Much work was still to be done for the win however, owing to a lack of time in the middle for many of the home line-up. A cameo knock of 30 from Jeff Buck was the highlight of a solid effort from the home side as they reached 110-6 in little more than 30 overs.
