A LACK of fire-power cost Little Thetford at the weekend as they lost out by eight runs to Chatteris III.
Sent in to bat first, Chatteris struggled to find their feet and were given a tough time by home duo Kevin Russell and Jai Amory who collected (3-29) and (3-50) respectively to ensure the visitors finished up on 120.
Thetford encountered much of the same trouble with the bat as the visitors had and, aside from knocks of 35 from Tom Neat and 27 from Mark Browne they struggled to build enough meaningful partnerships to take them to the finishing post.
