A LACKLUSTRE Soham Town Rangers side were dumped out of the Red Insurance Cup on Tuesday night after a 5-0 drubbing at AFC Sudbury.
Ian Benjamin's side were seldom at the races against a determined Sudbury side and afforded their league rivals their biggest home win of the season with a sluggish performance.
The Greens fell behind just 45 seconds into the match as Danny Bloomfield netted and found themselves 3-0 down at the break as Sudbury sought to punish a frenetic Soham defence.
Bloomfield struck again early in the second-half to dent any hopes of a comeback and frontman Jack Defty completed the scoring late on the hand Sudbury a ticket into the second round.
