Soham United U12 girls played away against Linton Aztec and, braving the biting wind and rain, both teams put on a brilliant performance.
Soham girls started off with a tight defence line. A few sneaky passes got through and once again our keeper proved herself worthy and kept a clean sheet saving every shot that came her way.
The second half saw Soham girls attack from the outset and Linton fighting hard to hold them back, finally Soham found the back of the net, finishing the game 1-0, a well-deserved win for the girls.
Soham U14 boys enjoyed another win at home, playing against Saffron Walden Whites.
Soham boys maintained good ball possession, Saffron Walden keeper made some brilliant saves unfortunately the second half did not go his way and Soham netted 4 goals, maintaining their lead in the Rover League.
Soham U12 yellows played their first home game against Shelford and Stapleford. Both teams played extremely well, a tough game from the outset however Soham held it together, not giving up and drew 2-2.
