ELY manager Dennis Lightning joked that the fans must have wanted a refund after this bore draw on Saturday.
In a game of very few chances, the home side had the best opportunity when they hit the bar in the second half.
In reality, however, a draw was always going to be the most likely result.
Lightning said: "The supporters must have wanted their money back after that game.
"The pitch was bumpy, dry as chaff and it was blowing a gale.
"If someone had offered me 0-0 before the game I would have taken it.
"We've drawn with the team who are second in the league and who are unbeaten in their last 12 league games.
"They hit the bar after 85 minutes and if they'd scored that would have been game, set and match but it would also have been hard on us.
"But we've taken four points off them this season and that's good.
