IN the league, Ely Park Rangers continued their quest for Senior Division status by winning 4-1 against Brook Magpies.
Rangers played poorly for an hour, but changed to a 3-5-2 formation and never looked back as goals from Martin Blakeley (3) and Andrew Francis completely turned the tide.
In Division 3A, Little Downham United won 3-0 at Brinkley Red Lion, but in 2A there was a 5-2 defeat awaiting QPR Ely in their home encounter with Magpies 2001.
Triple-S have been going great guns in the Senior Division lately, but on Sunday were beaten 4-2 by Drayton Lions.
In the Cambs FA Centenary Cup first round, LTFC 1906 hammered Cambridge Cosmos Reserves 7-0 with goals from Chris Wilson (2), Luke Butcher (2), Nathan Bennett, Kevin Hills and Chris Mitchell, and Wilburton Albion also enjoyed an easy day, winning 6-0 against Fox Burwell. But Ely Pymoor Rangers are out of the competition, beaten 4-1 at Edward Jolly Boys.
