A lone spectator waits in vain at Little Downham Cricket Club for play to start on Saturday, in the match between Little Downham II and Sutton II.
The British weather was the only winner on the local cricketing scene this weekend, with rain accounting for a full programme of matches in the Tucker Gardner and Cambridgeshire Cricket Association leagues.
Players will be hoping the sun shines thisweekend and umbrellas are kept to a minimum!
