HADDENHAM golfers will be raising money for charity when they tee-off a special event in September.
Two Haddenham golf societies, The Haddenham Ultimate Golf Society (THUGS) and the Cherry Tree Golf Society will do battle in a Ryder Cup style tournament and all money raised will be donated to East Anglian Children's Hospice (EACH).
The event will be held at the Lakeside Lodge Golf Club, Pidley, on September 9 and has been organised following the success of last year's inaugural charity match, which raised more than £300 for Haddenham Rovers Football Club.
Pairs and matchplay singles will be played by the 14-strong teams, captained by THUGS' Simon Cox and Cherry Tree's Lee Granger.
