LITTLEPORT played attacking football from the start but the Mepal goalkeeper was in fantastic form, keeping the scores all level in the first half.

The second half saw the introduction of Mitchell Drewitt for Littleport however, and he changed the game with his tough tackling and good passing to the wide players. Calvin Locke scored five goals, Finn Cater three and Drewitt himself scored his first 'Port goal. Man of the Match: Finn Cater.

Witchford Colts 10 Ely Crusaders 1

THIS game was much more competitive than the score line suggests.

Ely had a lot of early possession and could easily have been three goals up, but Witchford's Max Loker and Toby Rowsell made it 2-0 at the end of the first quarter.

Ely came out with all guns blazing at the start of the second period but Witchford cut loose with further goals from Loker, Jack Sheridan and Henry Green (3).

Ely continued to battle bravely and were finally rewarded with a goal, but Sheridan and Rowsell added further home goals before Loker completed his hat-trick.

Newmarket 0 Mepal Sports 9

MEPAL Sports secured another convincing victory against plucky Newmarket.

Jacob Waters helped himself to a hat-trick, and there were two goals each for George Rayner, Kassem Silvain and Shane Whatley.

James Knox enjoyed a fine game at the heart of Mepal's defence, and Serifo Balde was unlucky not to extend the margin of victory, hitting the bar with one strike and seeing several other efforts either saved or cleared off the goal line.

Ely Crusaders 17 Sutton Rangers 0

ELY turned on the style with some fine passing and movement from all over the pitch and ended up putting 17 goals past Sutton.

Max Wright (6), Chris Lewis (3), Edward Kratz (3), Finley Logan (2), Samuel Quarrier, Kyle Thurston and Samuel Lowe were the players on target.

Under-11

Ely City 1 Soham Town Colts 4

SOHAM opened the scoring in this Cup quarter final when Alistair Hutchison scored. Ely pushed forward but the Colts showed some excellent passing on the counter attack and Jordan Turpin soon added number two.

Alistair Hutchison nodded home his second to make it 3-0, and man-of-the-match Jordan Turpin added another one just before half time.

Ely finally got a break and scored a consolation goal towards the finish.

Under-13

Littleport Town 2 Stretham Sporting 1

PORT took all three points in this classic encounter.

Stretham took the lead with a close range tap-in, but this was the cue for Port to take control of the game and Ezra Collins levelled the scores.

The second half was all 'Port and it was only a matter of time before Luke Thompson fired in the winner.

Swavesey 7 Isleham 1

ISLEHAM went two goals down in the first five minutes and never recovered.

After 50 minutes the score was 7-0 to Swavesey, but Isleham's man-of-the-match Joseph Kimberley grabbed a late consolation goal for visitors.

Ely Crusaders 4 Newmarket 2

ELY dominated from the start and Luke Hayes scored the only goal of the first half.

In the second period Cameron Robb hit Ely's second, but a penalty put Newmarket back in the hunt.

This seemed to fire Ely up however, and they passed fluidly and tackled hard.

Good movement and passing saw Hayes grab his second, and Robb scored another from a throw to put the game beyond the visitors' reach.

Soham United 2 Mildenhall Town 1

SOHAM had to battle all the way against a well-organised Mildenhall side.

Murray King scored after five minutes, but Mildenhall defended well and drew level on the break before a Michael Wallis penalty snatched the points for United.

Josh Radford had a fine game in defence, as did Jack Hindle-Smith and Luke Sells in midfield, but man-of-the-match was goalkeeper Joel Orme.

Under-15

Ely Crusaders A 1 Bluntisham 0

CRUSADERS had to work hard for the points in this clash with Bluntisham.

Ely had to defend well as the visitors forced several early corners, and 'keeper Jamie Clark making several saves as the score remained 0-0 at the break.

Kevin Collier came on at the start of the second half, and proceeded to create a chance for Justin Phillips who scored the only goal of the game.

Chatteris Town Youth 1 Soham Town Colts 8

SOHAM took a while to get into their rhythm, but Elliot Drewery put them in command two good finishes before Chatteris responded a fine Liam Lewis header. Drewery completed his hat-trick though, and Dan Whitwell made it 4-1.

Soham continued to dominate in the second half, and Ryan Brook struck before James Seymour grabbed number six. Man-of-the-match Elliot Drewery then got his fourth, and Dan Whitwell wrapped things up for Soham in the closing stages.

Under-16

Cottenham 3 Ely Crusaders 1

ELY scored first when a corner taken by Ely's new signing John Bartlett swerved into the back of the net.

Five minutes into the second half however, Cottenham were awarded a penalty which they converted to even the score.

Soon afterwards, Cottenham took advantage of Ely's slackness, and a third goal 10 minutes from time confirmed their departure from the cup.
