Ely channelled their hunger and passin t gd effect after the break, and after 10 minutes a 25-yard free-hit frm Rutledge was expertly deflected int the rf f the net by Ed Hug.
Five minutes later, Chris Purlant flicked hme the equaliser, with Ferze Abbas having engaged the left side f Peterbrugh's defence with a mazy run befre finding man f the match Stu Clarke, wh squared t Purlant in frnt f gal.
It was still 2-2 at the final whistle, but Ely managed t preserve their unbeaten hme recrd.
