SOHAM TOWN RANGERS
Saturday's BGB Southern League Division One Midlands fixture at Atherstone Town was postponed due to a waterlogged pitch, despite it having passed a morning inspection.
Soham had no game scheduled for this Saturday, but have arranged a friendly at Thetford Town (KO 3pm).
For those not wishing to travel, the Reserves have a Senior Division A fixture at home to Hemingfords United on the same day.
FA VASE
Haverhill Rovers 1 Ely City 0
Ely crashed out of the FA Vase in Saturday's First Qualifying tie, going down by the only goal of the game at Haverhill Rovers.
"We had enough chances and possession to win three games of football," said Robins boss Dennis Lightning after witnessing his side's third successive defeat.
"Again we failed to convert chances - just like the Wivenhoe match - and it has cost us dearly.
"In the past seven games our forwards have scored three goals between them and our midfield players are not scoring either, and I just can't explain why.
