ELY’S second Summer Saturday event was held on the Market Place on Saturday.
Following on from the success of last week’s debut event, residents again enjoyed the best of the weather as they were invited by Ely’s mayor, Elaine Griffin-Singh, to bring along their chairs and a picnic and sit back to enjoy a variety of entertainment.
Entertainment on Saturday was provided by the Lighthouse Youth Theatre Group, who sang, danced and put on short dramatic performances.
