More than 20 youngsters came away with an award from a first aid course run at a village youth club.
A group of 22 young people earned a Young Life Saver Award and eight staff and volunteers were awarded an emergency first aid at work qualification at Stretham Youth Centre.
The first aid training came as part of a lottery-funded Being Safe and Keeping Well project run at the centre.
Janet Parish, chairman of Stretham Youth Centre, said: “We are very pleased that so many young people passed the first aid course, as it they now have the knowledge and confidence to help themselves and others if there has been an accident or injury, a very useful life skill to have.”
