A YOUNG travellers group in Witchford is aiming to dispel the misconceptions around their community with a new educational tool.
Cushty Cards are the brainchild of the Travellers Youth Club at Witchford Village College, who are aiming to educate friends and colleagues about their history and culture.
The cards, based around the classic four-suit deck, cover different aspects of the traveller community, from myths and superstitions to history and language.
Mick Oliver, who helps organise the group, said: “The cards have been a great success and we have had orders coming in from all over the country.”
