TWO young skiers from Little Thetford raised hundreds of pounds for charity with a sponsored ski.

Five-year-old Lynette Morrison and her brother Daniel, 14, took to the slopes at the Norwich Ski Club and managed to raise more than 380 for Disability Snow Sports UK, which helps disabled children with access to sports like skiing.

Lynette opted to ski the equivalent distance of the highest mountain on the moon Mount Huygens, which works out to 4.7km while Daniel skied the distance of Mount Maxwell, the highest mountain on Venus, some 11km.
