X FACTOR duo Same Difference are set to appear at the Ely Christmas Light Switch-on, it has been announced.
The pair, who were one of the big success stories of last year's show, were confirmed for the event taking place on Friday night and will join actor Warwick Davis (Willow, Star Wars, Harry Potter) and fellow X Factor contestant 80-year-old Cyril Grant at the event.
As well as the star line-up, the event will feature Christmas street entertainment, festive refreshments, Santa's grotto, craft stalls, and a living nativity performed by a group from Churches Together in Ely. Three camels, wise men, donkeys and sheep will feature in the re-enactment which will take place under Sacrists Gate in the High Street.
Oliver Cromwell's House will also be open for the event with a special admission price of £2. Guests will be treated to a glass of mulled wine while they take the tour around the famous house.
Festivities get under way at 4.30pm with the lights due to be turned on at 7pm.
