The Ely Hereward Rotary Club - Ely’s evening Rotary Club – is keen to recruit new members to help it continue to raise more funds for local charities and good causes.

Every year the club raises thousands of pounds and supports other organisations and events in Ely.

It is 50/50 male and female, with ages ranging from the early forties to the mid-seventies – plus one of 89! Age is not an important feature and the club consider all ages for membership.

They are very relaxed and informal, with “smart casual” the norm, and meet every Wednesday evening to plan fundraising, community support, and social activities. Formal meals are no longer a regular feature of meetings, but generally members go out to eat every month with family and friends.

If you would like to help your local community and would be interested in finding out more about the club, please contact us via http://rotaryclubely-hereward.org/, or e-mail president@rotaryclubely-hereward.org for more information and an invitation to attend a meeting – you can find them on Facebook and Twitter too.
