The musical version by Keith Waterhouse and Willis Hall, with music by Denis King, has an all singing and dancing Worzel (played by Mike Milne) and his friend Aunt Sally (Liz Morris).

Worzel dropped into the Cottenham Community Café to introduce youngsters to the pesky rooks and crows that he tries to keep away from Scatterbrook Farm.

The famous scarecrow - and his scarecrow friends - is set to entertain new generations of children and their parents at Cottenham Community College in a production directed by Gloria Milne.

Worzel Gummidge, the musical, will be onstage on November 28, 29 and 30 at 7.30pm, and matinees on December 1 at 1pm and 5.30pm.
