As the clock struck elevenses people all across Ely have raised a mug to cancer sufferers as the nationwide Macmillan World's Biggest Coffee morning got underway this morning.

This year the cancer charity aims to raise more than £7 million to improve the lives of those 270,000 people diagnosed with cancer each year.
