A TEENAGER who admitted assault and three charges of criminal damage has been ordered to carry out 16 hours of reparation work, under the terms of a three-month rehabilitation order.

The 15-year-old appeared at Ely Youth Court on Thursday. Magistrates were told that he assaulted his female victim during an incident on December 1.

He had also damaged a door frame on November 18; damaged pictures, walls and a kitchen door on December 1; and caused damage to curtains and a picture on December 14.

Solicitor Jacquie Baldwin said the boy had moved address since the offences.

The teenager told the court: "I will try not to do it again.
