On Friday afternoon, members of the churches of Soham and Wicken met at St Andrew' Church for the Women's World Day of Prayer. Prepared by Christian Women of South Africa, the theme for the service was called Signs Of The Times. Representatives of the churches took part in the service which was led by Margaret Fisher. Georgina Newell gave the message and Peter Scott accompanied the hymn singing at the organ. Refreshments were served at the close of the afternoon.
