MRS Keating welcomed members to the meeting, and Jerusalem was sung.
Our speaker for the evening was Jackie Tevlin who gave a delightful entertainment of Noel Coward and Gertrude Lawrence's stage careers, through music, song and acting. Audience participation showed up some would-be thesps. Members became backing-singers to Noel's Mad Dogs and Englishmen. Mrs Lewis gave the vote of thanks for a very enjoyable evening. The competition for a Theatre Programme was won by Mrs Townsin, second was Mrs Bowman, third Mrs Hardy and in fourth place was Mrs Murfitt.
April meeting - Mrs Higgs and Mrs Townsin will give a slide show/talk on their American holiday.
