Last Tuesday evening, despite awful weather, Stretham WI set out in a slow moving convoy down the A10 to the Traveller's Rest at Chittering, for their annual meal out. The evening had been planned in great detail by Mrs Human, plus the staff of the Traveller's Rest, and it was a great success. The pub was warm and welcoming, the service was quick and the food was excellent. A sincere vote of thanks for a happy evening was given to our hosts by the president Joy Smith.
The next meeting will be in Stretham Parish Rooms on April 11 at 7.15pm. The speaker, Yvonne Martin, will demonstrate Indian head massage. Also, there will be a competition for the best decorated Easter bonnet.
