Mr Evans, who works for a Newmarket stud, gave an excellent slide-show from a foal's conception to sale at Tatersalls and end at the racecourse. When asked for some betting tips, Mr Evans replied: "Keep your money in your purse ladies". Mrs D Keating gave the vote of thanks.

The competition for a china animal was won by Mrs D Keating.

Mrs D Keating was elected president for a second term.
