AN 18-year-old woman endured serious injuries after her car careered into a ditch near Soham.
The woman suffered injuries to her lower rib and leg and was treated at Addenbrooke's Hospital.
Firefighters were called to the incident at Barway Road, Barway and found the woman trapped inside a silver Ford Ka. The vehicle was on its side at the end of a sharp turn in the road.
Two fire crews from Soham and a rescue vehicle from Cambridge were called at 11.29pm on Wednesday and arrived on the scene within 10 minutes.
The victim was freed at 12.38am.
