A woman had to be cut out of her car after left the road and collided with a tree in Littleport.
The A10 was closed in both directions for around an hour and a half whilst the rescue took place yesterday evening.
“Firefighters used specialist cutting equipment to release the female casualty from the car,” said a Cambs Fire spokesman.
Crews from Littleport and Ely were called to the collision at around 6.19pm.
They returned to their stations by 8.09pm.
