A woman in her early twenties dislocated her hip and had to be airlifted to Addenbrooke’s Hospital after falling off her horse in Newmarket on Tuesday.
An East Anglian Air Ambulance team landed on a muddy track close to the patient and was first on the scene at 9.27am.
Dr Daniel Kornhall and critical-care paramedic Mark Milsom attended the horse riding incident.
The EAAA clinical crew sedated the patient before airlifting her to Addenbrooke’s Hospital.
