A woman was described as ‘walking wounded’ and left very shaken after her yellow VW Beetle crashed on Friday.
The car left the road at Upend on the B1063 near the junction with Broad Green at around 2pm whilst trying to avoid an oncoming blue estate vehicle.
The injured driver was treated by paramedics and taken to hospital by her friends. The Beetle, meanwhile, has suffered significant damage.
Police said: “We are seeking any witnesses to this incident who can help us to identify the second vehicle.
“If you can assist us, please call 101.”
