FORDHAM woman Kaye Zarattini has been fined £100 for breaching her curfew order six times in two months.
Five times she was late getting home from visiting her mother in hospital, and the sixth offence happened when she went out for the evening with friends, Ely magistrates were told this week.
Zarattini, 56, of Grove Park, was given the curfew order back in August, for an offence of driving a Jaguar car when disqualified.
"Her mother was in Addenbrooke's Hospital and she was reliant on other people giving her a lift," solicitor Jacqui Baldwin explained to the court. Then on September 29 Zarattini went to see friends and stayed out all night.
"She suffers from depression, osteoporosis and other health problems, and is a carer for her husband with multiple sclerosis," added Miss Baldwin. "There are times when she needs to get out of the house and leave those problems behind."
The court ordered Zarattini to pay £65 costs.
