A Witchford woman who has cared for her granddad for the last eight years will face her fear of heights to raise money for the Alzheimer’s SocietY.

Natasha Drever 23, who is taking part in the ‘One Giant Leap Skydive’at Sibson Airfield in Peterborough on March 11, said: “This is a charity close to my heart as my grandad, Gerry Linney, has been suffering with this cruel disease for nine years now.

“He has lived locally all of his life. He played for and managed Sutton’s football team for many years.

“I did the Dementia Friends Walk in 2017 with my cousin to raise money for this cause that has affected my family.

“I know my grandad has to face daily challenges and fears and I thought facing my fear of heights would be a fitting way to raise money for this worthwhile cause.”

Natasha has already raised £160 on her JustGiving page – but needs another £270 by February 3 to reach her £430 target.
