Students at Witchford Village College walked 13 miles in aid of local charities on Friday.
The college’s annual sponsored walk took place on July 14 and saw the entire college set out to walk to Sutton and back, partly following the original railway line.
Jo Gordon, of the college, said: “We are very grateful to the Three Pillars Business Park, in Sutton, who kindly allowed us on to their site to use the portaloos and have a lunch stop on their land.
“This walk follows on from our very successful walk last year to Braham Farm, which raised £6,400 for charity.
“This year we were supporting Sarcoma UK, Dementia UK, Centre 33, Tibet Relief Fund and College funds. Thank you to Mr Astbury for organising the walk.”
