Pupils at Witchford Village College got creative over half term by penning short stories for a college competition.
The competition invited pupils between Years 7 and 10 to write their finest short tales and a whole host of characters and genres were explored.
All participants were awarded with a certificate and pen, with prizes also going to Caydn Perez-Bent (Year 7 runner-up), Rose Ssemakula (Year 7 winner), Siobhan Walsh (Year 8 runner-up), Jess Lonnen (Year 8 winner) and Bonnie Scott (Year 10 winner).
A Witchford Village College spokesman said: “The English department would like to take this opportunity to congratulate all those who entered and to encourage all students to keep writing.”
