Witchford Village College hosts annual open evening

Potential pupils and their parents took part in a range of activities and displays at Witchford Village College’s annual open evening.
In the English block, visitors were able to make their own Shakespearian insults and witch’s spells.
A variety of sports were showcased and Year 6 pupils could try gym equipment and indoor archery.
In the drama studio and music rooms students were rehearsing for their forthcoming production.
History saw a step-back in time with a black death experience and catering hosted a health inspector challenge complete with cockroaches, rats and mould.
Bubble paintings could be made in the art department and injection moulding was demonstrated in DT.
The maths department hosted a variety of maths challenges and games whilst modern foreign languages had some informative displays.
The science department were undertaking a variety of experiments, including setting light to gas bubbles, dissecting bull’s eyes and looking at acids and alkalis.
There were also talks from principal Chris Terry.
