CHARGES of assault and criminal damage have been denied by 40-year-old Martin Vail.
Vail, of Main Street, Witchford, is accused of assaulting Claire Seymour in Ely on February 13.
It is also alleged that he caused �400-worth of damage to a glass cabinet and a mobile phone belonging to Ms Seymour on the same date.
The case was adjourned for two weeks by Ely magistrates on Thursday, and Vail was given conditional bail.
