Hundreds of fundraising runners defied the blazing sun to complete the Wings For Life World Run – which came through Haddenham on Sunday.
The international event which sprints across 34 countries including Australia, Brazil, Florida, Mexico, Russia and Sweden each year raises money to find a cure for spinal chord injury.
The Cambridge leg was won by ultra runner Steve Way, who went the distance of 63.75km all the way to Chatteris.
One hundred per cent of the entry fees go directly to the cause and registration for the 2017 race, which takes place on May 7 2017 is now open.
